Pesticide-Free Insect Control Sprays

Pesticide-free insect sprays are designed to control common household insects while prioritising safer use in and around the home when applied as directed. They’re a good option if you want an effective spray but prefer to avoid “heavy-duty” professional-style chemicals where possible.

Resticide-free sprays are ideal for:

• Everyday insect problems (ants, spiders, crawling insects, occasional intruders)
• Sensitive settings where you want a more cautious approach (family homes, pet households, frequent-use areas)

If you’re dealing with a bigger or persistent infestation, you may get better results by combining approaches — for example using a residual spray for pathways/harbourages and (where appropriate) an IGR to help break the life cycle.

It depends on the purpose of the spray and what you’re trying to achieve:

• For knock-down (quick control): spray directly onto visible insects or exactly where you’re seeing active pests right now.
• For ongoing control: treat the places insects travel and hide — along skirting boards, corners, cracks/crevices, under sinks, inside cupboard gaps, and behind appliances.
• For entry prevention: spray around likely entry points like door thresholds and window sills.

Low-risk sprays can provide knock-down on exposed insects, but for persistent problems you’ll usually get better long-term results by pairing with a residual spray (for pathways) and/or an IGR (to help break the life cycle).
