FAQs: Live & Humane Mouse Traps
How do live mouse traps work?
Live mouse traps are designed to safely capture mice without harming them. They use non-toxic bait to lure the mouse into the trap, which then closes securely, allowing for easy and humane release.
Where should I place a live mouse trap for the best results?
Place the trap along walls, in corners, or near areas where mice activity has been noticed, e.g. sightings, droppings or gnaw marks. Mice prefer secluded, hidden paths.
What bait works best for live mouse traps?
You can use professional attractants for best results. Foods like peanut butter, seeds, or small pieces of fruit are also highly effective as bait. Avoid using spoiled or overly fragrant food, as it may deter mice.
How do I release a mouse safely after catching it?
Release the mouse at least 2-3 miles away from your home or building in a natural, wooded area to prevent it from returning. Always wear gloves when handling the trap.
Are live mouse traps safe to use around pets and children?
Yes, live mouse traps are generally safe as they don’t use harmful chemicals or snapping mechanisms. However, keep them out of reach of pets and children to avoid accidental interference.
Let customers speak for us
from 11 reviewsMultibuy purchase; very quick delivery and seem to be good quality - recommended by Council Pest worker.

I’ve had a persistent mouse problem since moving house last year. I tried a few different solutions, including an electric trap, but they didn’t work. These baited with a bit of peanut butter work cleanly. Worth spending the money on something that does the job it’s supposed to do.

Excellent quality , just what I wanted

Nice and sturdy and well-built! Haven't used yet.

Really happy that it's easy to use and discreet.

I have kids and a dog so happy with how easy it is to use.

Great service - fast delivery, good product!
