We also stock window fly screens to help reduce insects entering indoor spaces.

For immediate protection, apply an on-skin repellent as directed and reapply according to the label. For added comfort outdoors, use citronella deterrents near seating areas and place them upwind where possible. Combining personal repellent + outdoor deterrents usually gives the best coverage.

Citronella products release a scented vapour that can help discourage biting insects in the surrounding area. They work best in still or sheltered outdoor spaces (patios, doorways, near seating) and should be positioned safely on stable surfaces, away from flammable materials, following the product instructions.

Use on-skin repellents on exposed skin as directed. Place citronella coils/tealights/diffusers near the areas you sit or enter the home—patios, doorways and garden seating—without blocking walkways. If midges are getting indoors, consider fitting window screens to reduce entry points.

Suitability varies by product. Always read the label and use as directed. Keep children and pets away from burning coils/candles and store repellents out of reach. If using on-skin products, follow any age guidance and application instructions on the label.
