We currently ship to the entire UK. All orders are shipped using fast and reputable postal services and couriers. Tracking details are provided once order has been despatched. This will allow you to track the status of your order.

We aim to ship all orders made by 12 noon on the same working day. Any orders made after 12 noon will be shipped on the next working day.

Free shipping on all orders above £50.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@pestbuddy.co.uk. You will then receive details on next steps via email.

You'll be responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) to us, unless we delivered it in error or it is faulty. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you further instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

What You’ll Need:

Rodent Aluminium Proofing Plate (250mm x 120mm)

Tin snips or metal shears

Measuring tape

Pencil or marker

Strong adhesive (e.g. construction glue) or screws and a drill

Protective gloves (recommended)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Identify entry points
Look for gaps around pipes, vents, door frames, and brickwork—anywhere a rodent could squeeze through.

2. Measure the area
Use a tape measure to check the size of the hole or gap you want to cover.

3. Mark and cut the plate
Mark the required size and shape on the aluminium plate. Carefully cut it using tin snips or metal shears. Always wear gloves when handling sharp edges.

4. Test the fit
Place the cut piece over the gap to ensure full coverage. Adjust the shape if needed.

5. Fix into place

If using adhesive: Apply a strong glue to the back edges of the plate and press it firmly into position.

If using screws: Pre-drill holes if needed, then screw the plate securely into place.

6. Check for gaps
Ensure the plate fits snugly against the surface with no spaces rodents could exploit.

Helpful Tips

For larger areas, use multiple plates or combine with rodent sealant or mesh.

Use weatherproof adhesive or fixings for outdoor installations.

Always wear protective gloves when cutting or handling metal.
