We currently ship to the entire UK. All orders are shipped using fast and reputable postal services and couriers. Tracking details are provided once order has been despatched. This will allow you to track the status of your order.

A summary of our pricing and shipping services are as follows:

We aim to ship all orders made by 12 noon on the same working day. Any orders made after 12 noon will be shipped on the next working day.

Free shipping on all orders above £50.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@pestbuddy.co.uk. You will then receive details on next steps via email.

You'll be responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) to us, unless we delivered it in error or it is faulty. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you further instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

1. Prepare the Trap:

Hold the trap securely and identify the bait well located on the trigger plate. Add an appropriate attractant such as Rotech Rat & Mouse Attractant, Magnet Gel, Nara Lures, or peanut butter to the bait well.

2. Adjust Sensitivity Settings:

Choose one of the three sensitivity settings (low, medium, or high) to suit your environment and target rodents:

Low: Prevents false triggers from smaller animals.
Medium: Standard setting for typical rat activity.
High: For sensitive areas where rats are cautious or scarce.

3. Set the Trap:

Grip the trap from behind to protect your fingers.
Pull back the spring-loaded bar until it locks securely into place.

4. Position the Trap:

Place the trap in areas of known rat activity, such as:
Along walls and skirting boards (rats tend to follow edges).
Near entry points, behind appliances, or in dark, sheltered areas. For added safety, place the trap inside a compatible Rotech Rat Bait Station to protect pets, children, and non-target species.

5. Monitor the Trap:

Check the trap daily for catches. If no activity is seen after a few days, relocate the trap to a different area of suspected rat activity.
Dispose of the Rodent:

Grip the trap securely from the back to avoid contact with the rodent.
Press the release mechanism to safely dispose of the rat.

6. Clean and Reset:

Wash the trap with warm, soapy water to remove any residue and odour.
Rebait, reset, and reposition the trap as needed to continue monitoring and control.
