We aim to ship all orders made by 12 noon on the same working day. Any orders made after 12 noon will be shipped on the next working day.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@pestbuddy.co.uk. You will then receive details on next steps via email.

You'll be responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) to us, unless we delivered it in error or it is faulty. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you further instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

1. Prepare the Trap:

Hold the trap securely and locate the bait well on the trigger plate. Apply an appropriate attractant, such as peanut butter, seeds, or non-toxic lures like gel bait or PestBuddy Attractant Gel.

2. Set the Trap:

Grip the trap from the rear to avoid accidental contact with the trigger mechanism. Pull back the spring-loaded bar until it securely locks into place. Ensure the trigger plate is positioned properly and the trap is stable.

3. Position the Trap:

Place the trap in areas of known rat activity, such as:
- Under kitchen units
- Along walls and skirting boards (rats typically follow edges)
- Near entry points, behind appliances, or in tight, sheltered spaces
- For outdoor use, place the trap in protected areas or within a rat bait station to prevent tampering by pets, children, or non-target species.

4. Monitor the Trap:

Check the trap daily for activity. If no rats are caught within a few days, relocate the trap to another area of suspected rat movement.

5. Dispose of the Rodent:

Grip the trap firmly from the back to avoid direct contact with the rodent. Press the release mechanism to open the trap and safely dispose of the rat.

Tip: Wear gloves and wash your hands thoroughly after handling the trap.

6. Clean and Reset:

Wash the trap with warm, soapy water to remove any residue or odours that may deter future catches. Reapply bait, reset, and reposition the trap as needed for continued use.
